Ask what we hold, or have it removed
Access, correction, erasure and objection, for anyone — customer or not, anywhere in the world. Free, and without an account. The one thing we ask for is proof that the mailbox is yours.
01You send the request
Pick what you want and give the address it is about. Nothing is disclosed or deleted at this point, and we do not look the address up.
02We mail a link to that address
Following it proves the mailbox is yours. We store only a one-way hash of the link, so even we cannot reproduce it, and it stops working after seven days.
03We answer within 30 days
Counted from the moment you follow the link, as article 12(3) requires. If a request is genuinely complex we may take longer, and we will tell you why before the month is up.
What we will and will not ask you for
Enough to match the right record, and no more. We will never ask for a passport, a driving licence or a selfie to deal with a work email address — collecting identity documents to answer a request about a job title would take more data from you than the request was about.
If a request is about data one of our customers uploaded into their own workspace, they are the controller and we are only the processor. We will tell you that, name them if we are allowed to, and pass the request on. Read the roles section of the privacy policy for why the distinction matters.
If our answer is not good enough
You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, and you do not need our permission or our involvement to do it. Say so to us as well if you like — we would rather fix it than read about it from a regulator.
We use the address you type here for the verification link and the answer, and for nothing else. It is never added to a campaign.
